Lists

One thing Chaos Horizon strives to do is find various measures (metrics) of a book’s popularity, critical reception, reader reception, and sales. These are hard to come by on the internet, so I’ll be gathering my various resources here on this page. Right now, I use:

A 2016 Awards Meta-List . . . that compiles all the major SFF awards.

A “Best of 2015” Meta-List by Mainstream outlets . . . to measure mainstream critical reception.

A “Best of 2015” Meta-List by SFF outlets . . . to measure SFF critical reception.

Monthly Goodreads and Amazon review numbers . . . to track popularity.

The Goodreads “2016 Hugo Eligible” list . . . to keep track of one popular vote.

The SFWA “2015 Nebula Recommendations” list . . . to keep track of the Nebula front-runners.

Previous Year’s Lists:

A “Best of 2014” Meta-List by Mainstream outlets . . . to measure mainstream critical reception.

A “Best of 2014” Meta-List by SFF websites . . . to measure SFF critical reception.

The 2015 Awards Meta-List, a collation of 15 major SFF awards . . . to measure awards reception.
